I have written this hub in respond to the question How much is the admission tickets for Shanghai Expo 2010?

The Shanghai World Expo will be held in China, Shanghai from 01-May-2010 to 31-Oct-2010.

Types of Tickets :

1. Appointed Day Single Entry Ticket : RMB200

• General Public
• Valid for appointed days and any normal day
• Single Entry only
• Appointed Days are : May 1-5, Oct 1-7 and Oct 25-31 (Total 17 days)
• There is a RMB 10-20 dollars discount if you purchase before 01-May-2010

2. Appointed Day Discounted Single Entry Ticket : RMB180

• Handicap
• People born before 1950
• China Military Personal
• Children above 1.2m tall
  
• Valid for appointed days and any normal day
• Single Entry only
• Appointed Days are : May 1-5, Oct 1-7 and Oct 25-31 (Total 17 days)
• There is a RMB 10-20 dollars discount if you purchase before 01-May-2010

3. Normal Day Single Entry Ticket : RMB160

• General Public
• Valid for normal day only
  
• Single Entry only
• Normal days refers to any day not classified as a special day（Total 167days）
• There is a RMB 10-20 dollars discount if you purchase before 01-May-2010

4. Normal Day Discounted Single Entry Ticket : RMB100

5. 7 Visit Normal Day Entry Ticket : RMB900

• General Public
• Valid for any 7 normal day entry only
  
• Each ticket can be only be use once per day only
• Normal days refers to any day not classified as a special day（Total 167days）

6. Normal Day Night Entry Ticket : RMB90

• General Public
• Valid after 5pm on normal day only
  
• Each ticket can be only be use once per day only
• Normal days refers to any day not classified as a special day（Total 167days）

7. Group Ticket : Book Through Travel Agent Only, Price unknown

• General Public
• Valid for normal day entry only
  
• For groups of 15 and above
  
• Group must enter Expo together
  
• Normal days refers to any day not classified as a special day（Total 167days）

8. Student Group Ticket : Book Through Travel Agent Only, Price unknown

• Student from Public School Only
• Valid for normal day entry only
  
• For groups of 30 and above
  
• Group must enter Expo together
  
• Normal days refers to any day not classified as a special day（Total 167days）

PS. Appointed Days are special days which the Shanghai authorities anticipate that there will be a huge flow of traffic due to the National Holidays. To manage such flow, they set a higher price for the entry ticket .The appointed days are May 1-5, October 1-7 and October 25-31 (Total 17 days)
